EBay enforcing returns policy?

Hi all,

I was unable to relist my items today without changing my returns to accept and supplying a period to return.

i have no problem refunding folks, but I do worry with selling things like magazines or CDs, this could be abused.

is this a new change from eBay?

thanks.

EBay enforcing returns policy?

I'm not sure if this is eBay enforcing this,  or you're coming across a site glitch that many of us have seen.

On relisting,  some items are being relisted with a Returns instead of a No Returns,   or a change of postal service is being made from Postage Only,  to Postage with a Collection option.

Instead of relist select ' Sell Similar' ,   this will allow you to change the Returns accepted to No Returns,  check your postal service is accurate too,  and hasn't ' jumped ' to offer a new service!

EBay enforcing returns policy?

Thanks for the reply. I was relisting via the app and it was refusing to relist without adding a return as an option. It will also not allow me t revise it once it is relisted. Should I try the website instead? Thank you.

Definitely use a laptop / PC and try Chrome,  then select Sell Similar not Relist.  The app is very limited in options and features.

After selecting Sell Similar check the returns and the postal service selected to be correct , before you list it live for sale.

Selecting Sell Similar is always better than relist,  as it becomes a ' new ' listing ,  so shows higher if only sometimes for a short time,  higher in listings,  so an extra bonus!

EBay enforcing returns policy?

Hi @tressygirl

I just tried it on chrome on my Mac and it is still asking for a domestic return, even when I select “Sell Similar”

I don’t know what to do now…

Thanks for any other advice.
