Not sure if I am posting this on correct board but as a business seller I have had an item marked late and this has come up as a defect on my seller level now item in question was sold late in the evening on Friday 3rd July and on listing it was down that I would get item out in 1 day. It was a heavy item and courier collected the Monday 6th July so from my end I done what I said on listing.  Courier is a 5 working day despatch from collection and was delivered on time and tracking is on listing for ebay to see, now buyer is saying item was late?  I have disputed this saying to check tracking as it clearly shows item was collected and delivered in stated time.  Ebay's response is they won't remove defect and I cannot appeal it?  I am puzzled I have done everything that I should have done but have a defect as buyer says item was late even though tracking shows it wasn't? How is it my fault, in fact considering the way things are due to Covid I am impressed it was delivered on time as there are still delays in many areas. ... View more

The phone i sold on ebay is being retuned because buyer claimes the phone is faulty, The fault is an app the buyer has downloaded and dosnt work very well. How can ebay say he is intitled to his money back for a faulty app downloaded from the app store. I feel the buyer has lied to ebay saying it was wrongly discribed in the listing, im fuming that Ebay has agreed i should give a refund. How can anybody sell a mobile on ebay now if they have to guarentee all apps downloaded will work, the app is Smart View. This app is being stopped in august by Samsung as its not reliable. ... Thanks in advance for any advice.   So, a parcel I sent with hermes has gone missing, they've disputed my claim as the item in question is body cream which they class as a liquid, so what courier service accepts items such as body creams ?   I guess its my fault as I didnt realise a body cream would be an issue.   There areabsolutley countless such item being sold and delivered on Ebay, including by Hermes, so what delivery courier can we safely use ? Have been left my 1st ever Negative Feedback as a seller and the feedback is 100% demonstratively untrue.   My listing clearly stated that the goods would be dispatched in 2 business days and would be sent RM 1st class post (an untracked service)   Almost immediately after the sale (on a weekend) the buyer started repeatedly and aggresively messaging me demanding a tracking number.   After pointing out that the listing stated RM 1st class (untracked) she started a tirade saying that it IS  a tracked service...   I actually caved in as I didn't want any trouble and paid £7 extra to upgrade her to RM Next Day Special Delivery.   It was dispatched on the Tuesday after the weekend sale and signed for by her on Wednesday.   She left Negative feedback stating "Late Dispatch" & "Not tracked" both of which are downright provable lies.   I asked her to remove her comments as they are fabrications but she has refused to delete them.   Surely someone can't just write complete lies, wrecking my 100% feedback without any repercussions?   As far as I can see Ebay are just saying "tough....there's nothing we can do"   I'm not just going to "let it go" but before I go down legal routes I was wondering if there are any avenues via Ebay to explore before doing so.   Thanks ...
