How do I do this without negativity impacting my rating? The request was made via a message.

The buyer can't pay but doesn't think they can cancel the transaction on their side. I am a new user and can't afford the negative impact on my rating of cancelling the transaction on my side. Is there a way that the buyer can cancel it?
