Thanks in advance for any advice.
So, a parcel I sent with hermes has gone missing, they've disputed my claim as the item in question is body cream which they class as a liquid, so what courier service accepts items such as body creams ?
I guess its my fault as I didnt realise a body cream would be an issue.
There areabsolutley countless such item being sold and delivered on Ebay, including by Hermes, so what delivery courier can we safely use ?
Thanks
You will have to do your own research - look on carriers' websites. They all have 'exclusion' lists which you should check before listing to ensure that you use one that will insure your item in the event of loss or damage in transit.
However, as you aren't a seller of creams, and simply a private seller (ie. someone selling off your old no-longer-wanted possessions from wardrobe and attic), this won't be an ongoing problem for you, so I'm not sure why you're worried about it...?
If you mean that you're planning to sell creams you've bought in or made, then you'll need to open a separate business account, or upgrade this account from private to business. Not only an Ebay requirement, but the law. For confirmation, go to Ebay's Seller Centre (foot of any page), and for full information, go to the government's website.
