Found this rather sneaky move by a buyer to try and get items cheaper than what they bid. I sold an item for what I thought was a strange high price and the usual thing happens no contact from the buyer after sending messages etc to try and confirm the sale. On checking bidders I found that I had 6 bids from 4 users, 3 of them coming from the second highest bidder. They way it goes is they bid slightly higher to get the highest bid, they then bid another twice one slightly more and the other much higher. Once those bids are in they then come in with a second ID and place a stupidly high bid that is never going to be outbid, with no intention of paying they hope that you offer the second chance bid to their original bid which is away down in value. The reason I noticed it was that when checking the bids after the auction finished the winning and runner up had the same start to their post code, obviously I get to see the winning bids details, I then done a search for the second bidders ID and contacted the last person who left them feedback and surprise surprise it was the exact same address details. I don’t know if this is a new thing or something I have just happened to come across but all it does is waste it for everyone else, it’s not a big deal I’ll just relist them but definitely not needed. Hi all, i have perfect feedback, a buyers that i sold a dvd audio disac  to has said it is badly scratched and wants to return, i said it left inperfect condition as ive listened tio  it many times, he said by definition by saying that then  it means its not in mint condition, the pictures are i believe not my item he wants to receive, even though i have told ebay via their fraud option i am still obliged to accept return at my cost and pay for the privelidge, i will probably not get my item i sold back ( the buyer in hindsight paid over the odds as a offer ), so i get the return they get refund im left with an item i cannot sell yet ebay still insist that is tough even though i have told them before the item is coming back its incorrect. hi all. i have just built a new computer and moved my old workhorse to it. I have installed all the software and drivers as i did before, set up label size etc. For some reason that i cannot figure out the labels are printing wrong, it can have the first inch aligned perfectly then the rest about 3 inches over to the right and wrapped back around, top half and bottom half of the label can have different horizontal alignment  or the top 5 inches is fine but the bottom inch is moved horizontily. I truly am struggling to figure it out i can print 5 labels in a row and have first bad second fine then all the rest a mixture of the above problems. Hi All, thanks in advance for the help.   I sold a graphic card on eBay on the 11/12/2020 and have sent the item.   Unfortunately, from the tracking, the package seems undelivered and I think it has been lost. However, DHL wants a confirmation that the buyer did not receive the item before proceeding to refund the money through insurance.   I tried to contact the buyer on the 28/12, explained the situation and asked him to confirm whether he received the item or not, but he did not reply.   I am not sure how to proceed, do you have any suggestion?   Thanks in advance ... Hello, at the moment due to the brexit fiasco I am not offering postage to the EU. However i used to have Webinterpret and sell on all european sites, my understanding was that if a customer was buying on their home marketplace i.e ebay.de / ebay.fr then they wouldnt be expected to pay import duty / VAT.    However if I am selling low value products, almost all are below £8 and the customer is buying from my ebay.co.uk ebay will their be any duty / VAT their end? I plan to 0% VAT these sales and want to make sure i've got everything right before doing so as I dont want to register for VAT in any countries other than the UK to keep it as simple as possible.   Any knowledge / experience on this would be great. My accountant has informed me I can 0% sales to customers in the EU as long as I keep a record of export   I have all the tariff codes, EORI number etc ready to go on the CN22   Thanks ... View more

For three days now all the new items I have listed on Ebay have shown as RELISTED and I have had confirmation e mails saying Your item has been Relisted for free. I have contaced Ebay customer service twice but cannot understand what they are saying. I haveaccepted a £1.00 fees day but still it is showing as RELISTED   I long to speak to someone in English. We are located in Bulgaria and sell in ebay.co.uk and today i saw that all my ads are with added VAT?If for example someone from Slovenia want to buy some of my items he must pay VAT and ebay will take this VAT and pay to UK but item that i sell is from Bulgaria to Slovenia and doesn't leave EU i think that this is very stupid.Could you tell me how to avoid that? ...
