ebay now charging to revise listings?

I've just relisted a bunch of items.  Naturally, ebay have automatically changed my custom shipping to 'simple' (anything but), even though 90% of them are still eligible for custom postage. 

So, I go to edit some of them & every single one of them - before I change a thing on the listing - wants to charge me 35p to revise it!

What gives?    I had no such problems yesterday.

Sadly we are living in an era that rewards failure. to many big companies are a complete shambles but are making vast amounts of money for supressing the people at the bottom. If Ebay are going to continue to hide and capitalise on this glitch then maybe everyone including myself should seriously consider if it is worth containing to sell through Ebay.

I doubt it. That would be like leaving cash in the ATM, walking away and expecting the bank to refund your account? It's simply not gonna happen. You have to go back and beg and fill in a claim form just to stand a chance.

Re my initial post on auto refunds,  I did explain to check one's account, and if the refund was not made automatically, then to call CS , I can only speak from experience and my phone calls to CS,  I did get a good agent I must admit 🤗 ,  resulted  in my refunds,  so worth a shot!

Yes, I understand. That was my point. You HAVE to ask for a refund. There's simply no way Ebay is going to issue them automatically to everybody that it knows should be getting them. Far easier (and in Ebay's interests) to make it difficult.

Besides, only those sellers that have noticed are likely to come forward. The rest can be ignored.

Aaah yes, I get you!

Yep, easy and quick  when something is owed to eBay , money taken asap , other way round ??  One has to wait , or as you say manually effect it happening !  🙄

Still waiting on Ebay refunding the money that they have robbed from their customers. What a carry on trying to get a refund. I have been on several times even have a ticket number but still nothing.
