Unable To Send Combined International Invoice

Is there anybody else who is having problems with sending a combined international invoice . I rang customer service this morning and she said not everyone is having the problem . I was wondering how long this has been going on .

Oh dear,   the CD agent was telling porkies,  at the very least , they are badly informed.

There has been a technical issue , that under Simple Delivery,  and I think even before,  sellers cannot combine postage.  This has been going on for a l  o  n  g  time now !

We are told eBay are aware,  but they seem to be taking their time solving this.

If postage was purchased though Simple Delivery and you now post all the items together the buyer will receive a refund for the unused labels they paid for, might be worth sending them a message explaining this,  and that it may take up to / over 30 days for the refund to appear.

If ' Free Postage' was offered,  then it's up to you how much you wish to refund as I'm presuming you added the postal charge to the item price.

Some sellers are leaving a message on their listing,  for example.....   ' If you wish to buy multiple items,  please let me know before buying,  I will relist them as one listing so only one postage cost is charged, combining postage is not currently possible. '

International postage is nothing to do with Simply Delivery , you still have to arrange your own postage by Royal Mail or one off the courier company depending on the size off the parcel unless you use the GSP which is far to expensive and you can not combine postage easily . What I can not understand how one seller can and not another . I understand the problem is with people who do not wish to use the rip off GSP .

Yep even before Simple Delivery as mentioned,  above it was an issue.  Just mentioned SD as it is now affecting many more seller s now.

There is no update of any fix date.

Sorry, just to add as you mention some can offer a combined postage this may be if they are using GSP.

 Combined postage is possible on eBay if you use the Global Shipping Program (GSP) and the buyer adds all items to their basket before paying. The items will then be processed through the GSP as a single shipment, resulting in a combined postage charge for the international leg of the delivery.

That is if works , I had a uk buyer who won 3 auctions only last night and was not able to put them into his basket and pay for them in one go so only creating one label so It would be a miracle if you where able to do it with GSP. He told me he had the same problem a week ago which means Ebay had not solved that one .

What happened to the old saying if it is not broken don't fix it . We'll it really is broken at the moment and it is left to sellers to try and find a work around .

Not being able to combine postage as a tech issue has been going for much,  much longer than a week!

Those who use GSP have proffered the answer to place items in basket first,  and a combined postage is then possible,  as said,  this is for GSP items.

I'm not clear whether you mean BIN or auction.

BIN - I do sometimes get this problem. This is what I send to my buyers -

"Combined invoices are not available via the Ebay phone app you must be logged in to Ebay.co.uk [.com doesn’t work] via the web page.

Buy an item using "Add to basket"

When finished buying go to Basket but do not go to Checkout instead request total and finally "Commit to buy & submit request".

I then receive your request & send the combined invoice."

Numerous International buyers find this works but the odd one claims it doesn't. This is a very longstanding problem & the last I heard Ebay had said they had no intention of making combined postage available via the app.

Auctions - I have no problem with auctions whether they buy via the app or website as long as they have the patience to wait for the combined invoice.

As a Business I have no contact with SD so don't know if that affects it.

I've had a look at the items you are selling on this eBay account. The postage is set-up for the UK only.

The reason you are not able to see the items I am having problems with sending q International combined invoice to is because they where on a 10 day auction and they have now finished . Ebay have confirmed there is a on going problem for some people who do not use GSP . I have sold some off the same items internationally before and have never previously had a problem .
