Royal Mail collection vs QR code?

I've used the RM free collection option on EBay, but for the umpteen time RM postie has failed to collect. 

The problem is...

How do you get a QR code so you can take the uncollected parcel to the nearest Post Office for them to print the label? 

AFAICT, the only options on Ebay are to print the damn label yourself... or am I missing something.

(Yes, I could rebook for another collection attempt tmrw, but I typically need to ship the item the same day, so that's a no-go. Flipping RM collection is unreliable c r a p half the time!)

Anyone know how to get a QR code in this situation?

Well
EBay kept emailing me to refund so therefore they should refund me . Also
there’s no option to do it through Royal Mail I’ve tried many times ok
totally unsatisfactory service . EBAY ..

Of course there's an option to get a label direct from Royal Mail, https://send.royalmail.com/send/youritem?country=GBR&format&weight=&weightUnit=G complete the details and send the buyer an image or pdf of the label they can print

I’m not speaking to the buyer they have been so rude to me throughout the
whole process and they wouldn’t get a label printed for me anyway. It’s an
awkward customer I’ve never experienced a horrible customer before in all
the years I’ve been on EBay.

While you're at it... why not just fix the issue I started this thread about?

It is affecting literally all private sellers since Simple Delivery was introduced, whenever Royal Mail fail to collect items booked for collection using Ebay's site – SELLERS NEED THE QR CODE! 🤷
