Option to send invoices disappeared

Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.

I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo. 

anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

Global shipping program is not compulsory I believe. but no one has helped me as to why simple delivery domestic postage is turning of international postage after listing in scheduled listing and when item goes live and overseas buyer wins item. that I cant send invoice and overseas buyer cant pay or add money / send invoice from there end meaning loss of sale / sales

It appears Ebay are now charging sellers to send overseas, so I'm
deselecting international postage each time.

Not had that problem yet. but I think every thing will go simple delivery via domestic postage and at moment simple domestic postage is over riding normal domestic postage in favour of simply delivery. what no one has explained is why its also turning off international postage option when item goes live

Ebay charge you to list item so USA and Canada ebayer's can see what you're selling on there eBay sights think .4p or 8p is that correct

Ebay has always charged extra for International sales (currently 3% of the total amount paid by the buyer from Private Sellers) as it costs them more to process those sales.

I presume you are referring to the optional upgrade for international visibility on eBay.com and eBay.ca.  The charge for that, for Private Sellers, is currently 30p for fixed price listings and between 5 and 15p for auction-style listings depending on start price.

As far as I'm aware, as a seller I haven't paid extra for international
sales previously...

its only for USA and Canada visibility on their ebay sites. cost max 8 p per listing I belive

ye i have similar probem been told ebay are not able to sell items to USA and send postage cost invoice  from the web sight due to tarriff problem regardless if you use gps[ which is not compulsary]  and item made in uk and under $800 comes up with a ebay message --invoices cannot be sent for items where ebay manages all or part of the postage these item are excluded from invoice

 just been told no sales to USA because of usa tarrifs  sold item are not beeing alowed to send in voice with postage cost infor usa buyers to pay comes up with message - invoices cannot be sent for items where ebay manges all or part of the postage  these items are excluded for the invoice

i have just been informed by eBay that any sales via UK to USA will not be able to send a invoice with the postage amount because of tariff problem regard less if you have enrolled in GPS [ which is not compulsory ] or not . it will not matter if item is made in UK or under the $800 sales limit . so if you have sold a item to USA you have lost a sale and will have cancel order until EBAY sorted out. this is the message you will receive . invoices cannot be sent for item where eBay manages all or part of the postage these item are excluded rom the invoice .
1st noticed on 24 July . customer services had no idea or knowledge of this till i spoke to a eBay overseas specialist agent today

Thank goodness for other selling platforms which DO allow for sales to the USA - ( i sent an item to Utah, in Yesterdays mail) .

ebay got cold feet on on European destinations back last summer, which resulted in a cessation of those sales, other platforms assisted sellers, hence that trade continued with their  aid.

You have never been able to send invoices for items sent through the GSP, do that's nothing new.

i have never been enrolled i the GPS so now nobody on eBay can sell items to USA from until they sort out tariff and eBay inform us

YOU WAS Lucky found out that item will get to usa if sent via royal mail direct [ and maybe some other carriers ] but USA customs require tax No and other detail from buyer before shipping to there address thats why thers big big delays

Ive never come across that - all i ever  quote is the platforms 'IM' number as the platform collects Taxes for the receiving country.

Well apart from maybe ebay ?

hi every one has to put the uk gov tariff commodity code for items that's been the norm for few years now. but as or this new problem not sure exact date but i noticed on 24 july when i sold item and would not allow me to send invoice with postage cost in to USA and struggled with nine different service agents to explain what was going on. Still was not told when it will change or when everyone going to be informed

I just got the same message a number of you have been receiving when trying to send a combined invoice to a HONG KONG buyer - "

Invoices cannot be sent for items where eBay manages all or part of the postage. These items are excluded from this invoice."

Speaking to Ebay Customer Services they told me it was a known problem but they could not see a timeframe in which it would be fixed (seems like it has been going on for many months now - there really should be an official announcement on this!)  -  The suggestion was that I cancel all the orders (these were auction listings) and relist as a single 'buy it now' lot or get the buyer to pay the full postage cost and then part refund them.   I can really see buyers having an issue with both suggestions and feel  EBay should prioritise sorting this out immediately!!!
