Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.
I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo.
anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

If you buy postage online with Royal Mail you can either print labels yourself and post or you can get Royal Mail to collect from your home for free and also bring the address labels as well.I already do this myself and to me it's a no brainer....How bads that....Pretty good me thinks.

Thanks James, but I think you've misunderstood. That's what I already do on ebay (actually I print the labels myself, because very occasionally RM's system breaks down but my nice postie still takes away the parcels I've left in the porch). Read crafty's post carefully, we're not talking about ebay.

oohh yes me too. my buyer was asking me if he could pick up the item instead of me posting it, of course i wanted to help so i agreed. but there was nowhere to generate an invoice to knock off the postage for them, seller hub supposed to have a actions button but only a printout is being offered for the invoice, not an invoice itself which is most frustrating and confusing for me. so my buyer is going to pay the postage and ill refund it back to him. there is no other option at this time that i can see to help. so i will try to get in touch with a human to see if i can get some clarification. hope all goes well. if i find a solution i will reply with it.

For collection you need to input a 6 digit code, but I think the buyer would only have that if they selected collection at purchase.
Without it, as far as eBay are concerned you have no proof that the buyer has received the item which means they can put in a not received claim and you lose money and item.
If the buyer doesn't have the 6 digit collection code, I'd advise cancelling the order and relisting it with collection as an option. Explaining the above to the buyer would help you too.
If they want proof, link them here.

It's gone. No point asking for help anymore. Mandatory Simple Delivery is confirmed now. They will start adjusting current listings as of the 7th April and as of 15th April the only option for new listings will be Simple Delivery.
Simple Delivery was always going to kill invoicing.
The Ai system decides item weight and prices accordingly. & going by post examples we've been seeing it isn't allowing for packing materials.
