Option on sold listings to ‘send payment details’ has disappeared and I’m unable to send people invoices for combined orders like I normally do. I did a live chat with customer service, but I don’t really think they knew what I was talking about.
I have buyers waiting to pay, but are reluctant to pay for the entire postage cost in one go and have me refund due to the amount of money they would have in limbo.
anybody else having the same problem? Anyone at eBay able to confirm it’s being looked into so I can tell my buyers?

What happens to the imposed '4 days to pay rule' whilst a solution is being sought?
Buyers will be impressed with having to try to get strikes cancelled or simply be unable to buy .

Why is there no time estimate.Does ebay want to keep sellers and buyers or does ebay just not care? It seems like no one cares. How sustainable is such policy. I was advised 90 days or more. Can you escalate the issue and own it, monitor it and update everyone.

They will only reply to something that can give a copy and paste answer people are desperate to know exactly what is going on. I can't see the invoice buyer system coming back. Just tell us the truth for once

There's a new one just come up on live chat. A seller can't add the same tracking number to separate orders.
The system says it's already in use.
That with the invoice issues and the new legal threat in terms and conditions regarding BPF make me think they want to finish combined orders.
Too coincidental that both methods of doing it are now gone.

Oh yes part of the long term plan. So only part of a combined order will get money paid in 2 days if tracked the rest wait 14. They are very devious, would be making a fortune out of us if people were actually still buying anything, so not so clever after all maybe

This is not a solution . This is avoidance of providing reason and timeline. When will invoicing be available

No, it looks worse than that. If they can't modify it, they have no proof of dispatch which means the buyer "could" turn round and say only part was received.
So no 14 days delayed payment, no money and no goods instead.

Yes i see what you mean, when i have combined i could add the tracking no to each item but now the selling has dried up i can't test it

I'm not sure it's about finishing combined orders specifically, I think it's about driving away small time private sellers. None of these issues are affecting business sellers, and I suspect ebay doesn't want to be a private seller auction site anymore, it's got too much competition from Vinted, Facebook Market place etc. What with that and the extra pressure from the likes of HMRC, Trading Standards and so on they've probably decided they just want to be an 'auction' alternative to Amazon. But they'll never admit that of course, they'll just drive us all away through the user experience equivalent of death by a thousand cuts.....

I just did live chat re the sending invoice issue and was told there are technical issues with this atm
Ebay are working to fix it, some of my sales have send invoice option some do not which is odd.

This has been going on for almost a week, the refund though pending money hasn't worked since just once on the first day, working to fix what a joke. They managed to fix making us wait for money for 14 days very easily
