No 70% off Variable Selling Fees this weekend ?

I always get a 70% off variable selling fees  every 2 week and it is when I list.  There is nothing on the "promotions" area of my home page either.  Do any other private sellers have the same issue ?  From what I have read on forums it is not guaranteed, but I have never not had one.

Those promotions are not guaranteed offers,  if you have been receiving them fornightly you are very,  very lucky.

Some do not receive these for months on end,  some not at all.

They are offered to be received as a  ' bonus'  and not an expected offer.

One tip I will give,  do not rely on emails from eBay for these offers,  but regularly check your Promotional Offer section on your homepage,  if you have been the lucky one to receive an offer,  it will be there,   waiting to be activated,

I also get the offer every two weeks, usually.  But every now and again it skips one.  They have always started up again though, so far.

If you are using the eBay App, there has been an update for iOS systems. Download the update from the APP Store as this might be why some haven't received offers.

Both 70% and 80% offers are available this weekend to invited sellers.

I had no message today regarding any offer today.

In my seller hub i went into promotions, selected the last one i received on April 5th and a new offer for today appeared. It has worked for me on a few occasions in the past. I hope it works for you.

These promotions are designed to get people offering stuff for sale; consequently they will be targetted at those who are either not selling at all, or those who are only selling intermittently.    If you are regularly making new listings and making a steady string of sales, you probably will not fall into the category of someone who needs to be encouraged to start selling, or encouraged to sell more, and therefore may not recieve the FVF fee reduction offer, or may not recieve one that is as high or may not recieve one as frequently.

I am exactly the same. I usually get the 70% off selling fees every 2-4 weeks but nothing for several weeks now.

However I just typed in on Google how often do ebay offer the 70% off selling fees and it came up straight away with 70% offer activate now.!!!

One tip I can offer is to never solely rely on eBay messages informing you of a promotion.  Always check your Promotional offer section on your homepage,  especially on Friday / Saturday.  

If you are invited,  the promo will be there,  waiting to be activated, and sometimes a message has not been sent.

Ive not had it either but my mum has has an 80% off fees offer.

It is randomly offered,  but check your seller dashboard is it showing your account to be Above Selling Standard?  This is a prerequisite for receiving those promotions.

I got the 80% off promotion on my private account for the first time in a couple of years. It's impossible to say what triggered it but I have recently been listing some old clothes from my wardrobe and I bought a couple of things as well.

Not true at all, i get the offer every 2 weeks for the last few years and have over 100 items for sale on a regular basis.

Nobody does this weekend as im not sure ebay are doing an offer.

I've not got one too. I get them religiously every two weeks . EBay's loss as I'll stop listing.

Many are reporting no promo today, and a member contacted eBay Customer Support and received this answer:

'From time-to-time eBay reviews our ongoing promotional campaigns and may decide to suspend, change, or cancel them at any time. We have taken the decision not to offer promotions over the weekend of the 20th-22nd September 2024.'

Seemingly they are skipping this weekend's promotion but... just in case.... perhaps worth checking that Promotional Offer section from time to time, if it will be offered,  it will be sitting there waiting to be activated.
