Hi,
I've been using eBay for 24 years now and I have never had a 'Funds pending – awaiting delivery' show on any sale.
For some reason this has shown on three items I have sold over the past couple of days, when everything else I have sold over the past couple of months has been fine and payment has arrived as usual.
These are physical items, not digital, and I've been selling for 24 years, so why all of a sudden is this a thing?
thanks
Sam

I certainly agree with you on this, I have also been with eBay for nearly twenty years and because I,m half way to being 80yrs young it’s very complicating for me to keep up with all this chopping and changing, why can,t they just leave things as they were!!! I am very confused as to why my goods/items are saying they have been delivered BUT funds are withheld due to pending???

Have you properly set up managed payments so there is a bank account for you to transfer your money into?
Follow the processes here:
If you have done all of this, you do need to go into 'payments' and withdraw the money. It won't be paid into your bank automatically.

You will get your money but for new sellers there is a longer initial hold, as eBay wish to be sure you are a good eBayer, that you will post items promptly, keep an account in good standing not receive defects anytime soon!
As a new seller have you registered for eBay's Managed Payments? If not you won't receive your payouts.
See here:
You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified. The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive, and confirm to eBay.
Once this is completed, you will be able to list items for sale, and receive payouts from those sales.
This will show you how to register for eBay's Managed Payments.
