Evri? Anyone else having problems?

I sent 2 items last Tuesday, and they were scanned at the drop off point.

 

And that is it! No movement on the tracking, and the items have definitely left the drop off.

 

1 customer has complained and has been refunded by Ebay, not me. I am expecting the other to do the same.

 

Since we went onto Simple Delivery this is the 4th (Evri) parcel that has 'gone missing'!

Previously, in over 20years, I don't think I have had more than half a dozen go missing in total. I feel sorry for my customers, but at least I am not out of pocket now.

 

I think Simple Delivery is wonderful!

Sometimes lately they seem to be collected and not scanned until they are being sorted at the depot.  This has only happened since Evri made changes in their systems recently.  I suspect new and temporary staff doing the collections either aren't being given a scanner or don't realise they need to do it.

Hi, can I ask you how Ebay dealt with this, please. Buyers has been refunded of delivery or whole price, and what about you for your refund should the item not showing at all, please? I am very sorry for you, I used Evri before 2022, and until I sent items of low value or none, it was ok, but when I used them to collect an item for me, of high value, well, we ended up in small court claims to have a refund, and for what it matters, it was assured and not prohibited, I got their attention the moment I was ready to go legal after 1 month of wasting time and mocking over the phone, once you could phone them, now it is mostly bots. Check if your courier at your drop off is a proper person, they don't do checks on people and they don't get a wage, it is easy for them to round their money with people parcels, if this happens again, report it to small claims Court. Also since I stopped use them I got to realise it is very rare to lose a parcel, I didn't had one lost by the other couriers so far, I hope in yourcase it is just a delay.
