Your buyer needs to an open a return "request" selecting "Arrived damaged" as the reason. You can't re-use the label you used to send the item to the GSP hub in Lichfield as the carrier involved will have already scanned it.
As long as your buyer opens a return request as detailed above you will not be held liable for refunding them (although you might have to point this out to eBay). Once the buyer has received their refund they can purchase the item again but they must select "Arrived damaged" as the reason for requesting a return.
Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
