EVRI

I used EVRI collect a parcel to deliver to a buyer for the first time. Two days after the courier collected the parcel from me, I had a message from the buyer saying they hadn't received the package. They live 336 miles away from me. Three days in, and the parcel still hasn't arrived and more messages from the buyer first saying they checked the tracking on the parcel and it was still in their depot and in the same breath, they said that the courier hadn't got the parcel! Every time I had the buyers message underneath was a message from eBay saying they have stepped in. What about help  for the seller. No help for the seller. Everything is for the buyer and absolutely nothing for the seller.

With Simple Delivery if an item is lost in transit ebay refund the buyer themselves and the seller keeps the payment.

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with this order but looking at your listings are you sure you are a private seller?   If you make items to sell you are a business.

If you used eBay S.D. Let eBay deal with it and only communicate with the buyer via any dispute opened.

Thank you for replying. So far, the buyer has sent the jacket back according to eBay but I haven't received it yet and had no notification from Royal Mail that they have the parcel.

Thank you for the information. EBay have said that the buyer is returning the item through Royal Mail. I have had no notification that Royal Mail has the parcel. I don't trust the RM as they tend to lose parcels and this is why I went with EVRI.
