Does anyone know how to set the label size under Simple Delivery?
I have made my first (possibly last) sale using Simple Delivery. All seemed to go well except for printing a label, it comes as one of four on an A4 sheet and prints a quarter of the expected size on a label printer. I cannot find any 'preferences' for label size and asking the ebay help AI (Automated Idiot) it explains how to do a return and totally ignores my question.
I need to explain, I am housebound so need a label so that the postie can collect, he has confirmed that they cannot print labels so the QR code is not an option. Incidentally the 'Simple Profiteering' option charges the buyer £0.25p more than Royal Mail on-line service for a small parcel under 1kg.
Could be my final days with ebay.

You usually adjust the size of the label on your computer. Mine comes up when I click 'print' and there is a setting section that allows me to change size, colour etc.
Ebay can't adjust your printers settings, it's something you have to do, if like me, with trial and error 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I had the same problem. I had to change paper size in my printer to North America 4 x 6. It's still not as good with doing it through Royal Mail but the label will be big enough to post.
Hope this helps.

I can't believe the cost of postage with Royal Mail, they certainly put a whack on it. My sales on here are awful, doing much better on V and their postage is much cheaper with evri and inpost, small parcel £2.29.

Are you allowed only one go at printing the label ?
Everyone knows some printers can be temperamental.

Sorry I have not been clear with my question. Under the Simple delivery regime you get an email with a QR code as standard. In the email it has a print label button, click it and it directs you to your Sellers page where there is now a new option 'Postage Labels' from here you can print / re-print a Royal Mail label. It opens an A4 sheet in your browser with the 6" x 4" label in the top left. When using a dedicated 6 x 4 label printer it prints the label as per the browser - in the top left corner 2.5" x 1.65" in size and unreadable.
So as a dedicated 6" x 4" printer the printer settings on my PC will print WYSIWYG it cannot detected that I only want to print less than a quarter of the A4 page. My thoughts were that might Ebay allow you to define what size label to use (and not my printer settings). I cannot find that setting or any other referring to labels if indeed there are any. I have got around this by using screen grab software and copying the result into Word but this will become tiresome.

Solved !
The Vretti label printer has an option to manually set a print area and this can be saved under a separate device name (as long as I remember which one to use). Tested and works.
