When I used EVRI myself, before the eBay limitations, if a parcel went astray, I claimed via EVRI &, in all cases, got my money back, both for the delivery costs & the parcel contents. There seems to be a problem at present, judging from other posts, about claiming from EVRI because there doesn't seem to be a way to do it & sellers are losing the value of their items.
Anyone know if there is a procedure?
Also, I used to quite frequently pay an extra £1 for a guaranteed "signature" & that doesn't appear either.

Over the years I have had 4 packages "go astray" with Evri. You will need to contact Packlink on the ebay site as they will deal with the loss and hopefully reimburse you without undue delay.

Are you using 'Simple' delivery?
If you are, you don't even try to contact Evri.
Ebay are Evri's customer under S.D.- Ebay should just refund you and deal with Evri themselves.

If you are a Private Seller you'll now be using Simple Delivery. Under that parcels are covered by e-Bay against loss or damage up to £750. If one goes AWOL the Buyer opens a "Not Received" case and e-Bay refund them and you keep the money.

If its packlink, it's painless . Take a snap of the order page, snap of the evri tracking page. Hit claims and lost packet and go here

Easy
If its direct with EVRI i'm not sure but i just use packlink cuz always compensate me for missing or damaged items

Didn't even realise u can login to packlink and see all the open claims. One evri courier a few weeks ago collected a pile and stole them so claimed on all those

I have seen quite a few posts now where the seller has said a buyer has opened a claim and Ebay have dealt with it, refunding the buyer and paying the seller the proceeds of the sale.
I have not seen posts where sellers have lost parcels sent with Evri using Simple Delivery and then had an issue. If using Simple Delivery, sellers don't need to claim at all for a lost/damaged/destroyed item.
There has always been some confusion where sellers have bought Evri postage, through Packlink/Ebay and then tried to claim directly from Evri but that is not a new issue.
