I recently sold an item and Can't withdraw my funds. Why is Ebay not allowing me to withdraw my sales receipts?
The so called 'NEW ' process says there is a 'Withdraw' option in the sellers hub which we can opt for at any time to transmit funds to our bank accounts. . If there is, it is well hidden. i have spent over 2 hours trying every screen I can find and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WITHDRAW OPTION. This suggests to me that Ebay are deliberately witholding funds. Why ?

Same for me. Grey withdrawal button. And it's probably gonna cost me money by stopping me paying off a credit card bill. 😣

Have you tried a different browser?

I have the same on my private account. I saw a brief line 'somewhere'* on ebay that said some ebayers are having difficulties with payouts and they are aware of it.
*'somewhere' being not anywhere I would expect to see it

I was having the issue that I could not find an option to transfer the funds in my eBay account to my bank account. I was using Chrome.
I ended up using the eBay app that was pre-installed on my phone, and this did resolve the issue. Just need to find out how I log out of the app!
Process of using the mobile app:
Tapping the "Selling" icon at the bottom of the mobile app took me to a screen showing my year-to-date total, and after getting rid of the "new to selling" message, I could see the "Payments" heading, with my eBay balance below and an amount with an arrow pointing to the right.
Tapping the arrow took me to a new window, which a blue box showing my eBay balance, and another arrow.
Tapping this arrow took me to a new window with the option to "Withdraw" at the bottom.

i am unable to withdraw, its a joke you put the amount in then the box then the bottom box to confirm is not visible, if you try to do anything the whole lot goes back to where you started. this has been going on for 2 weeks, i am using vinted at the moment and having no problem getting my funds

On my tablet in landscape mode, there is a button labelled with my name in the top left corner of the screen. It says “Hi L****!” It’s highlighted in blue and there’s a pull down arrow next to it.
The pull down arrow brings up “account settings”
Clicking on that brings up a page of links. On the left side menu, scrolling down, under the “Selling” list, is “Seller Account”

Same here - sold on ebay for years and have 2 seller accounts both of which ebay are with holding my monies.
They have over £500 of my balance but icon to 'withdraw' is no longer available on either account
spoken to an agent who again suggests a glitch in the system
this is very concerning

its about time they got this sorted. you contact customer services and they are not interested, ebay are failing in many ways and not getting anything sorted, there is no wonder people are leaving and selling on Vinted and facebook and other platforms.

eBay hold payments for a number of reasons; commonly:
Registration holds: We may hold payouts if we identify a discrepancy with the information you provided at registration. If your account is restricted, we'll notify you by email with a request for additional information.
Performance holds: We hold your payouts if we identify unusual activity associated with your account, such as increased customer claims, a sudden change in your selling activity, late deliveries, or negative buyer feedback
Invalid payment method: We may put your payouts on hold if we can't deduct your selling fees and other costs from any of your on-file payment methods. In this case, you’ll need to add another payment method.
Compliance holds: We maintain policies and procedures to protect buyers and sellers while complying with applicable laws. If your account has a payout hold or restriction for compliance reasons, we'll notify you by email and may request additional information from you.
The most recent compliance hold on laws is to meet eBay's due diligence requirements in collecting National Insurance Numbers. "...... 'withdraw' is no longer available on either account" - suggests you have more than one eBay account; have you been asked to provide your NINO. If so have you supplied it? The requirement to report your sales is on a cumulative amount across accounts; not on individual accounts.
If you haven't been asked for your NINO or have already supplied it I would suggest that you contact eBay via a call-back between 8am and 9am when it is more likely to be responded to by an Irish customer service agent who are more familiar with the legal requirements of eBay UK members and will probably pursue your queries more effectively.
