I recently sold an item and Can't withdraw my funds. Why is Ebay not allowing me to withdraw my sales receipts?
The so called 'NEW ' process says there is a 'Withdraw' option in the sellers hub which we can opt for at any time to transmit funds to our bank accounts. . If there is, it is well hidden. i have spent over 2 hours trying every screen I can find and there is ABSOLUTELY NO WITHDRAW OPTION. This suggests to me that Ebay are deliberately witholding funds. Why ?

Yep, from time to time , seems some browsers start to fail and throw up glitches.

From time to time some web developers start to fail. And some fail pretty much all the time.
A modern web browser is a hugely complex piece of software, rendering pages according to standards that are not always fully defined.
So responsible web devs test their code against at least a dozen browsers before deploying it.
And user interface design is a whole extra skill that some web devs lack.

I’ve been playing the ping pong of ..follow this route..take screenshots..take more screenshots.. take a video etc for several weeks. If you’re trying to find withdraw using an iPad, I have found that if you click left of the browser box (where the url is displayed) on the Aa symbol, you can Request Desktop Website. This works for me. Or eBay suggest in the UK, going to www.ebay.co.uk/mes/summary where youvshould see the withdraw option. Hope this helps at least some of you withdraw your funds whilst they fix the incorrect link to the mobile website.

HI, ive just battled with my laptop for an hour. Nowhere on any screen is the WITHDRAW FUNDS option available. Logged on using my phone, and there it is clear as day. EBAY sort it out please.

It is just so bizarre how this is not available for members no matter the device or browser you use, but obviously it does still affect the process to be able to withdraw payouts some find fault with the app some with a desktop !
As said, just bizarre! 🤔

I am on a tablet, on Google Chrome.
The only way I can do it is:-
I have to "opt out of seller hub"
then "switch tools"
then "take me to my eBay selling"
Down left hand side "payment"
Click on arrow, scroll to bottom and click on blue withdraw, then put in amount you want to withdraw, then scroll down to bottom and the withdraw has changed from grey to blue!! PRESS!!
So long winded but only way can do it, and that I got from CS!!

I use Firefox-does not work with EBay withdrawals. I had to use Microft Edge which I detest, Using Windows 11 23h2 on a hp laptop

Exactly the same for me. "Withdraw" is not there.

Is everyone who is having withdrawal problems using Apple devices (phones and MACs). On our apple devices the arrow did not take us to the withdraw window. But on our Windows laptop it worked fine. Please try logging into to your Ebay on a non-apple device and see if that works.

Having supposed that people suffering this problem were just at the mercy of a badly designed user interface, I now have to revise my opinion. I've successfully withdrawn funds several times since October, using my desktop. This week I tried to do so on my laptop. I couldn't do it, the button wouldn't respond. I made several attempts.
So then I tried on my desktop. Success.
Both devices are using Firefox on Linux. I have no idea what the difference might be.

This certainly seems to be the case. That is, for some unknown reasons, unknown to me anyway I'm no techie, the withdrawal of money from sales works for some on a laptop, for others on the app, for some on desktops, for others on mobile browsers.
Some find Chrome works, it does for me, but others find it a failure. Firefox a winner? Yep, again not for everyone !🤔
We can deduce from this , it's just a matter of finding the right combo for the device and browser one is using, to find the ones which work for you.
It's certainly not a case of .... ' One Size Fits All !'

I had this problem, where I could not withdraw funds because there was no 'withdraw' tab. It was extremely frustrating and I spent ages trying to figure out what might be wrong, hence i ended up here. There is some advice from Ebay (kat@ebya) lower on this page, suggesting a change of browser might help matters. I did this and yes it then worked - the blue 'withdraw' tab suddenly appeared where it should be and I successfully withdrew my funds. I changed from Google to Microsoft Edge. There clearly appears to be a serious problem with some google browser users unable to withdraw funds, such as me. If you have this problem then please try and do what I did and see what happens.

Absolutely my experience!
Deliberate corporate manipulation is the only explanation.
I ran a search for how to Withdraw and it tells me how to track payments - no mention of how to withdraw!
Unbelievable.

In many ways what you say is correct. I work with Windows 11 Professional 23H2. I use Firefox-Firefox does not work. I had to change to Microsoft Bing and it showed withdraw. This is going on too long. They should be posting advice on what to do-but that's asking too much these days

I don't believe it's deliberate at all. Never ascribe to malice that which can be explained by incompetence. In ebay's case utter utter utter incompetence. Countless examples.

I had this issue just now, solution was to use the mobiles internet, not WiFi

Spot on.
*bleep*-up and Cover-up, not Conspiracy. (also applies to most conspiracy theories....)
