Something went wrong and we were not able to generate the label

Hi, I am trying to purchase royal mail postage through eBay but when I click purchase postage label I get this message "Something went wrong and we were not able to generate the label" is there a problem or am I doing something wrong?

The issue was logged with tech earlier and should now be resolved. For anyone who reported the issue on this thread if you try again now the label should generate.

Thank you for your post.

Some users find that it works after refreshing the page. Currently there is a ticket open with tech who are working on it. Unfortunately I don't have a timescale on a fix but once there is an update on it being resolved I will post back.

Switched to firefox from chrome and the labels worked first time, may have been just lucky timing , but may be of help

Just shows how vulnerable we will be when eBay had another 'glitch' and its the only option to generate labels.

"Something went wrong and we were not able to generate the label" This is the exact error message, this is the 5th time this has happened, sometimes we can't get any labels printed because of it, other days we get through 15/20 then it starts giving the error. What is the issue with bays system? Can we get this resolved already?! My employee can't get through shipping and we are stuck purchasing labels on pirate ship massively slowing us down and costing us time and money with our employee on top of having to pay it out of pocket every time, this is ridiculous! 8 years on ebay and ive never seen issues like this!

We apologise for the inconvenience its causing. It seems to be happening intermittently. There is an open ticket for it and tech are continuing to work on it. I will add your account to the ticket and once there are updates provided I will post back.
