I don't understand what's going on with the Simple Delivery international postage pricing. I think they've messed up the prices. I sell items that weigh just over 2 kg internationally. Now, with Simple Delivery, I have set the label that covers a parcel up to 15 kg (meaning the buyer pays the same for a 2.1kg item as they would if it was 15kg)! The weight options are: up to 1 kg, up 2 kg then up to 15kg...
Why the massive jump in weight? It means buyers are paying ridiculous amounts for items that weigh just over 2 kg. This will seriously affect my sales.
Another issue is the mad price jumps between weights on labels. For example, I had a buyer tell me it cost them £15 extra when I changed the weight from 1kg to 2 kg since the original label only covered up to 1 kg. I lost the sale... If this continues, I’ll be forced to quit eBay, as international sales make up a large chunk of my business.
eBay is trying to be Vinted... There's a reason why eBay have been successfull, now it's going downhill for private sellers. I went from 85% international sales to 20% in a week while using Simple Delivery!
eBay, sort it out!

If you’re happy to send your own way and do all the paperwork ,try this
Disable global shipping
then try and list with custom delivery then see what happens

I would never use GSP it chargers buyers on the price off the item , it cost the same to send a £10 item as it does a £100 so why do the shippes charge more it is nothing to with the size or weight off the item how 8s that fair to the buyer .

I opted out of GSP, (far too expensive for my customers) sold three items to someone in South Africa, now can't send revised invoice for combined postage. Phoned eBay, they seemed confused, but say that I must ask the buyer to pay and then refund the difference. Even though I am meant to be in control of my international postage! Hopefully, the buyer will trust me, that I will actually refund them. This was the same story they told me in the interim time when they were moving us over to simple delivery. I am not a happy person right now and they are ruining my whole experience on this site
