Hi, I have just been to post all item's that I have sold in the last 24 hours at my post office. 4 of my items were Royal mail 48 Tracked /simple delivery, all 4 QR codes are invalid and will not scan! How am I supposed to send my items to my customers please!

Still not working at nearly 3pm today!

Can confirm. Printed labels at home, dropped off at the PO and they accepted no issues (without the proof of postage receipt as discussed)

Royal mail have updated their database that supply's the tracking numbers and this has not updated for the post offices, this is why they will not scan and will effect the parcels
There is an issue with all Royal mail 48 tracked with any parcel numbers starting Y.
Our parcels were refused at the post office today as they could not scan them (brought the Royal Mail postage via eBay) we brought them back and cancelled the postage and purchased direct from Royal Mail, took them back and again they would not scan. We ended up taking the parcels to another post office and the staff member took them but explained they were not scanned in the system so the tracking may not show up.
The only way to resolve this while Royal Mail try and resolve this, is send 24 hours or send via a different courier.

My local post office wouldn’t take them because they wouldn’t scan correctly. Luckily there’s a Royal Mail locker nearby so I took them there, they scanned fine and tracked ok already.

Still not working as at 4:45pm today. Post Office refusing to accept parcels with the YA... code.
Can't be dealing with the eBay chatbot so I stumped up the £4.05 for 2nd class tracking myself, and the Buyer presumably will get the refund.

Ditto here, same problem with my PO. I still needed to ship so paid direct at post office and have now cancelled the label I purchased from eBay and will be given refund.

message them to explain you went out your way to get their item to them and would it be ok to send them a PayPal invoice for them to pay once they get their refund
most buyers would be ok,with that
tell them to type lots of spaces in their email address so it doesn’t flag up as one

So the parcels I took in today were scanned by the lady at the counter, and she printed me a kind of receipt. All of them now show the status "courier scanned" and "we have it" in the tracking. But the parcels I dropped off on Saturday still say "label created" and "we're expecting it"... so... I guess I'm screwed.

Same here, my two items I handed over yesterday at the PO still just say Sender despatching item and Tracking number provided..
The postmaster had me take a photo of the items with the label on as some kind proof.
Hopefully something'll change tomorrow or at least when they're delivered! (crosses fingers)

Ive not bothered trying today (Monday) but hopefully by Tuesday they will have sorted the issue

Post office insiders are saying wont be till at least Wednesday
you can Google collect+ and find your nearest store, they will scan them and give you a receipt

As Of 19:30 Monday problem still exists. fourth attempt at posting since Saturday. Post office staff have no idea when situation will be resolved.

I’ve just checked and one of my Saturday parcels has just been scanned by the courier and the status changed to “We have got it”!

My two packages statuses have now changed to "Item Received" so yay - what a relief!
