New format - issues with postage options

When listing a new item, the postage format seems to have changed. I can now no longer add a second postage option. Also if I go in and revise an item, all the postage options are removed and I have to reset them. It’s VERY frustrating. The only time I can add a second postage option is on my existing listing that were made when it was the old format. I have reported it to eBay and they said they have reported it to their IT team but that I am apparently the only person to have reported these issues. Am I alone, or has anyone else experienced this. If so, do you have a solution for me to try?

Re: New format - issues with postage options

I think it’s all dreadful, currently looking at other ways to sell stuff! The charity shops locally are very picky about what they accept and I am really too old for doing boot fairs.
All my stuff is near enough vintage, from toys to collectibles, non of which was bought for resale. I just need to downsize some large collections which when I lived in a 3bedroomed house on my own wasn’t a problem, but now I share home with my daughter and her family, (husband and 2 boys) I don’t have the room for all of it!
I understand that eBay has to comply with uk law but it’s not really working for me!

Re: New format - issues with postage options

I'm in pretty much the same boat. I am selling my personal collections and
possessions to downsize as my daughter doesn't want to inherit. I'm not up
for vintage fairs, so I guess Facebook marketplace (not ideal for vintage)
a d the charity shop is the only way to go. It's not ideal, but needs must.

Re: New format - issues with postage options

RUDE!

Without warning, eBay changed my listings and I was horrified that I had to use all inclusive which increases the buyer protection fee. It’s like you go out and come home seeing your settee in a different place. Everything needs to be costed. To treat sellers like this is rude. Some people just can’s run it as a business. It’s my hobby and I need to buy new and exciting plants and for this,  I need to sell to make money. How do they expect people to pay monthly fee for shifting an item a week. Everything is more expensive to the buyers.  Who wants to buy from eBay?
