Combined Postage / Simple Delivery

Hi,

Have they added anything for being able to combine postage with simple delivery yet?

I have a lot of listings and don't want to change them to simple delivery until combining postage is available as I could loose too many sales. (I know i can create new listing for multiple items if asked but this is a hassle and takes up too much time)

Nope,  it hasn't be solved yet.

Be aware it's not a matter of you waiting to change over to Simple Delivery, eBay are doing this automatically now for those still left with the Custom Postage option.

Check your listings daily,  one day you may well find they have been changed to SD,  then there's no turning back.  One tip check all your listings,  as some members have found errors in postage on this ' changeover'.

For the tech issue for not being able to combine postage,  eBay tell us ' they are working on it, 🤔

This may help, some sellers are leaving a message on their listing,  for example.....   ' If you wish to buy multiple items,  please let me know before buying,  I will relist them as one listing so only one postage cost is charged, combining postage is not currently possible. '

Combined Postage / Simple Delivery

I wish they would get this sorted.  I got a message yesterday asking me if I will combine shipping.  My reply went as follows:-

Unfortunately with the new "Simple Delivery" model I cannot combine postage for you. Ebay will compute a price it thinks the items should cost to post. I cannot affect that.

So probably lost me multiple sales.

I had a question about combining the other day, and I suggested they let me know which items, so that I could delist and relist as one lot. Our posts crossed, and they went ahead and bought them. We considered cancelling and relisting, but decided on leaving it as it was (they were being charged £2 over the actual cost) and I would add a freebie. As I'm just getting rid of things I no longer want that suited me, but I wouldn't have wanted to offer that if the items had been selling were more valuable collectables.

Given that ebay charged the buyer 5.21 for a parcel that would only have cost them about £2, they can afford to be far more generous with their combining.
