Your payouts are blocked while we review your account

My payouts are blocked for 13 days already, and every time I contact ebay they say will go escalate the problem and wait for a call in 24 hours, nobody calls. Have more than 15 years this account without problem and now thousands of pounds are blocked for this issue.

As members like yourself and with no access to your account,  it's impossible to say anything about  a review or for any verification needed for the release of your payouts.

 

I do understand you have spoken to eBay Customer Services,  but it wholly depends who you get hold off to receive a correct and satisfactory answer.

 

When you called did you speak to Dublin,  you can hear the dulcet tones of the Emerald Isles so you'll know if it's Dublin.  Only speak to them and there's more chance if you contact CS very first thing when the lines first open at 8 a.m. on weekdays.

 

Only speak to them and hopefully they can shed some light on what is happening here with your payouts.

 

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

 

As said I do recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

I called 5 times already (morning and afternoon), but I don't think was with Dublin. They say can't help, but "escalate" the problem.

I do not understand how eBay can block income from actual Business sellers. How would ebay contend if their "income" suddenly stopped?  

It is beyond any reasoning... Have eBay actually informed you why?

It's definitely Dublin you need to get hold of ,  to explain to you why your payouts have suddenly stopped.

Nobody contact me. I just notice on last Monday no payments and when I opened the payments a tab on eBay had a red flag. Nothing requested to me, or a email to say that payout was blocked.

So, they have provided no valid  information as to why your payments were blocked other than a " review" and stated 2 days to complete which was over a week ago?  They have surpassed their timeline without any further explanations other than to " escalate"...what does that even mean?  Have they given you any idea as to what they are actually " reviewing" on your account?  Please contact eBay again as Tressygirl has said, also how many items have they " blocked " payments on? Are these delivered and no issues arose? 

I just find it appalling that eBay can interfere with the active running of a legitimate business, it is taking a liberty and  a huge concern! @bcgels 

If they can do that to business sellers, then private sellers stand no chance!

 

I am shaking my head here in disbelief, the audacity and lack of support/answers  from your calls to customer service, it makes me wonder if accounts are being flagged only by their " automation?" and that is simply not on!

Are you not still within the two days that the red banner says it will take?  Or do you think the banner was there before Monday?

No, I'm not still on the 2 days. Because the block begin on 20/02 and not this Monday. I notice on Monday 24/02. And today is already 05/03, so its 9 working days already.

I am so sorry, it is beyond the pale, and you must be so frustrated at a minimum.

 marco@ebay Please can you look at @bcgels posts as their BUSINESS account has had payments blocked for 9 days, apparently for a review which was supposed to be completed in 2 days?

Another call and ask to wait more 2 days. hahaha. Tired of this and the sales keeping going and no money.

 

This one told the account don't have any problem and he can't pay as he don't have this "power".

 

eBay is not like before anymore.

mmmm.. well, I would consider stopping selling, perhaps put your account on holiday mode or remove them until it is sorted.. otherwise your funds held could increase and as you do not know the reasoning  nor when your already funds held will be available, you may find yourself in a situation of  potentially losing hundreds and your items... it has happened to others seen in many comments on the board here.

It's appalling this is happening more and more. They can just cancel you with no explanation the new rules coming in even state if they change buyer fee don't have to give any notice. Every day i'm thinking what next

It is  unprofessional and daylight robbery...  this is business seller who relies on their business income... Any other company who did this would be in serious trouble... shameful...

Oh my goodness that made me feel sick, truly. I am so sorry. Please contact them again and ask to speak with a manager on the Business account section and stand your ground , insist that you know what they are reviewing exactly, why the delay as it is now nearly 2 weeks, if you can assist them in any way to help them to release your funds quicker etc etc. You may require legal advice too, unsure? But I would be getting advice so that I had knowledge. I have never heard of such a thing, it is quite scary. Take care and keep us updated please and good luck. @bcgels

Now appears the following in my account: payout blocked and

 

As a new seller, your payouts are held temporarily to ensure the safety of your account. Your funds will be available shortly and you don’t need to do anything else.

 

NEW SELLER?? Selling over 15 years everyday. this is funny.

This is incredible. Now called again lost 35 minutes on the phone and they told would take more 5 working days, and I can't talk with nobody as supervisor, etc..

 

No explanation of what is happening.
