New Payout System

How is this new payment until after delivery confirmed going to work,i have sent parcels signed for and also tracked and on a few occasions the items have been delivered but does not state that they have on the ebay app i only know they have because the buyer has left positive feedback.

If the tracking does not show delivery the payment will be held for 14 days and then, if there are no complaints from the buyer, released.

If you sent something by RM and it shows as delivered on their tracking website page,

take a screenshot of it just in case.  I avoid sending stuff by NEVRi tbh, they are useless

most of the time.

When i send packages i take a photo of the package and when i get the reciept at the

post office i take a photo of that as well.  It's proof that's it been sent.

Unfortunately RM tracking is quite unreliable, I can forsee problems.

Sometimes just completely falls apart and tracking is unavailable for days on end, sometimes parcels have arrived without it updating on system as well.

I think there will be a lot of complaints about the new payout system.  I know from experience that Royal Mail are rubbish at updating their systems to say package has been delivered.  I have had this happen many times and only know they have been delivered because of feedback left.  When you track with royal mail it often says it is not able to give the information.  I had sent one package on 3rd December to Grantham and it ended up at south tyneside mail centre and it sat there till the 24th December before it was delivered (I posted it 48hr tracked).  When I complained to royal mail I was refunded the cost.  I currently have a parcel that was delivered on 12th but ebay says awaiting delivery.

I think a lot of people will be waiting the maximum 14 days due to delivery confirmation issues.

You took the words right out of my mouth.. exactly the same as happened to me being delivered got the feedback but Mr or Mrs postman on not doing their job properly and registering that item has been delivered on their machine.. this happens on a number of occasions all around the UK lazy post people not doing job properly so when not getting paid properly.. why on earth as eBay introduced this stupid system.. I spoke to them on the phone and told them that this was going to happen and now it has.. when are eBay going to listen to their customers I've got outstanding payments from the 7th of February which have been posted delivered and good feedback from customer yet no money from eBay it's a complete disgrace..👎👎👎👎👎👎 this is going to happen again and again eBay your customers will get fed up with you very soon

That's a complete shambles we should not have to wait 14 days when the post man or lady are not doing their job properly we are paying for a service , first or second class signed for that's what should happen. It's all down to the lazy post person not doing the job properly it's disgusting...
