Recently had a successful dispute with this seller which I had to do via my bank as eBay proved useless favouring the seller and refusing to hear me out as a buyer
So I bought the Samsung galaxy fold 7 on July 25th for £1470 in hindsight yes when something sounds to good be to true it usually is and ir was.
This seller had good communication untill he knew the delivery day was coming then he found the most petty excuse to stop responding because I was working away and partner was going to monitor the process for me and he said that wasn't allowed and stop communicating and this was the first red flag. Monday July 28th came and still nothing was delivered I passed the message on to contact the seller but had no response a couple more days pass (Wednesday 30th) and he then changes the tracking number on the item page and it shows the item has been delivered but I havent received it. I then click on the proof of delivery and it shows one of the neighbors on my streets name which I recognised. I asked him if he has a parcel delivered recently because I brought a phone and its showing it was delivered here and he says I've had a parcel but it wasn't a phone, it was a Jet2 holiday brochure in a padded envelope with the same tracking number the seller has recently updated the item page tracking number to, the parcel had no name just the delivery address return address, tracking number and royal mail details. Costing no more than £6 who would send a £1500 phone out just as a signed for delivery not tracked or insured. eBay then had a chance to review the situation but I felt they was no help at all they was automatically siding with the seller as I the item showed it was delivered on my street so I escalated it to my bank which was another ordeal, firstly eBay said the seller has done nothing wrong the item is showing it was delivered on the street seller is calling buyer a scammer. They even said they have it on file that it was delivered to my address which was a complete lie. My bank handled it in the timeframe they said they would, the evidence I provided with ring doorbell footage, the actual package that was delivered proof of the tracking number being changed after delivery, my bank took that evidence to eBay and they had to refund me but now Im chasing compensation for my time, the defimation of my character calling me a scammer when I'm just a hard working person who just wanted to treat themselves to something nice. This has caused so much stress and been such a negative on my mental health, the lies told about me the having to chase up things constantly to get my own money back and eBay allowing this seller to still sell even tho all this has been proven is not right. eBay needs to protect buyers just as much as sellers.
eBay also tried to take the money out of my bank account on August 19th but was denied by my bank. I called eBay to ask about this but they denied it. My bank wouldn't just pluck this out of thin air. Could of been the best part of 3k down for a Jet2 holiday brochure. Despite a lot of back and forth my bank did what they are there to do and I'm very grateful for that.

instead of breaking the rules, why not leave feedback to warn others?

Left feedback eBay deleted it

What happened to the Holiday brochure? If that being delivered meant ebay would not get involved, then the simple answer would have been to open a NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE. This is the one situation where a second case can be opened, and you would have had a refund without the need to involve your bank.
As far as leaving a negative, it is always best to keep brief, just “unsatisfactory transaction” says it all and no reason for it to be removed.
Ebay did not help by increasing the length of feedback that can be left. The more said the more chance of providing grounds for seller to ask for removal.

Cant open a not as described case for something that wasn't delivered to my address.

The way the seller had done this it was best for a 3rd parth to take care of it, eBay weren't any help and the customer service agents have the mental capacity of a 6 year old. I thought coming on the community pages would help but I gather the people aren't much more mentally advanced than the agents.
