So I ordered a bumper which was meant to be in good condition to unpack to see it's not the same as photo and there's damage. I paid a lot of money, sent pictures to the seller and explained he told me it wasnt him one of his workers must of sent it out wrong. He said he will arrange to get a replacement out but before he does he will send a photo. Anyways I don't hear anything for days, then he said he forgot to take a photo but has packed it up. Days later I ask for an update of when it was posted and what courier. No response, so I open up a returns case. He finally replies saying it's been sent he doesn't want the damaged wrong item sent back. Anyways today o messaged again asking for a update as it's been days.... No response, I thought I'd cancel the return and then put it as not recieved but now it's saying I have closed the case. I'm waiting for a call from eBay. Has anyone had anything similar and how did they get it sorted please

If case is closed, that is it, there is no second chance.
You should have opened the case as soon as you knew it was the wrong item. NEVER wait for a replacement, which is usually just an excuse to get you out of time, always get a refund, then if you still have any faith in seller, buy again.

If the ebay case is now closed and you have not received a refund,then contact your payment provider and look to arrange a chargeback if payment was made by card,or alternate payment options depending how you funded the payment to get your money back
