Selling an item and the buyer receives said item and then after 10 days decides to get a refund

I am quite in my rights to refuse a refund as the jacket I sold was as describe and the gentlemen received it and then 10 days later wants a refund or did he just change his mind or did it not fit,  I do believe that when you state no refunds it means that, I take lots of pictures and describe item as it is but the guy then puts up that the jacket did not come with what is stated in the description. Did he remove them? how do I know he did not default this item when he received it, anyone had similar buyers do this. Thank you.

If your buyer has opened a case eg a not as described it’s best to accept wait for the item to be returned and then refund. If you don’t you would still have to refund but not potentially get the goods back.

even though you state no returns it’s only remourse returns you can reject.

You need to accept the return and supply a label.

If you don't, the buyer can ask Ebay to step in and they will either supply a label on your behalf and charge you, or refund the buyer without them needing to return it.

Accepting returns that you think are unfair is a part of selling on Ebay and buyers of clothes seem to be especially fussy.  Some clothes/shoes sellers find it easier to accept returns with 14 days.  At least that way, if it is a doesn't fit or change of mind scenario, the buyer does have to pay for postage.

If you relist it, check your description - you say it is a 'Michelin' beer jacket and say the leather is 'subtle' - I think you mean 'supple'.
