Seller didnt dispatch item but its past 30 days i reported it and now ebay wont step in and help

Ordered a valuable box of pokemon cards at the start of Jan which was a preorder for their release in early Feb (value was £1,000). Delivery never arrived but i didnt report it within the 30 days as i thought maybe it was taking a while to be posted as the box was large. Ive tried contacting the seller and no response. Ebay also wont step in and return my money as it isnt covered by the 30 day moneyback guarantee, yet i can see the item was never even dispatched! This is not fair, ebay should be able to see this and reverse the transaction.

What can i do?

Contact your payment provider for help to possibly recover your money,so the payment method you used to pay with for help

If your out of time contact your local citizens advice.

It is hardly ebay’s fault that you let it run over time, they can hardly change the rules which in any case you agree to by listing.

Payment provider may be able to help, if paypal was used I believe they also restrict to 30 days.

I think PayPal still have 180 days for item not received claims, and 30 for item not as described.

if you paid by PayPal and are within 180 days from the date of payment open a PayPal not received case.
