Personal Coupon Bug?

I have a personal 5% off coupon that I can see in my summary. It is still valid and does not expire until 31st January (3 days time) but it will not work. I have tried multiple different items and it does not work, I get the message "This code can't be applied to your order."

It allows any purchase from all categories  except 

1. The "Property", "Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles", "Coins, Banknotes & Bullion" and "Electronic Smoking, Parts & Accessories" categories are always excluded."

So it should work. Is there a bug? Has anyone else experienced this?

It may cover most categories, but are you sure it applies to all sellers, as it usually only applies to a few selected  BUSINESS SELLERS.

It is not a coupon that has any restrictions to any sellers. I am pretty sure it is a bug in the UI showing it and I don't actually have the coupon.

Unfortunately ebay do say they do not guarantee any discounts/coupons they present when they don't work,or expire.

If using a mobile device see if it will work using a Pc if you have access to one,as the ebay app is often glitchy
