Order cancelled by seller

Hi! So a seller sent me an offer for an item I was watching and when I accepted the offer and paid they cancelled it claiming they'd made a mistake. They cancelled as out of stock/damaged but then relisted the item immediately at the original price.

I've tried to raise with EBay but get nowhere and I couldn't leave any feedback once I'd been refunded.

I thought it was supposed to be a binding contract?

Any advice? Thanks!

Ebay won't make the seller sell you the item at the price offered.

Clearly the seller made an error - it does happen.

You can report the seller for using a false reason for cancelling.

Thanks! I tired reporting them for giving a false reason but nothing happens. Didn’t even get a response to my report.
