Not possible,payment has to be made through eBay before address details can be given.

If the buyer then decides they don't want the bike you can cancel and they will be refunded.

It may help to explain to your buyer why eBay no longer allows any contact details to be provided until a sale is completed.

This is to prevent buyers and sellers from making private arrangementsto inspect and then buy items, enabling the seller to evade payment of eBay's fees - which unfortunately often used to happen.

Now all that can be done is to agree a cancellation if after inspection the buyer no longer wants the item. Even this isn't without problems, as some sellers may refuse a cancellation, leaving the buyer to be penalised by eBay for not paying.

Appreciate your advice. I thought as much but because I rarely use e-bay selling I wasn't aware of the process. I have told the interested party as you have mentioned but he has come back saying he wants a test ride first. I will now explain further as you have advised.
