Hi, so I try to list an item on sale, for a fact I tried couple of times in past few months with same outcome "There is an error on our side. Try again later". I spoke tonsupport over phone and they couldn't sort it saying the issue may be it's 12 year old account with never sold an item before... yes and what's the problem there I don't get it. Anyone had similar issue? Any ideas how to solve or I need to open new account to sell?

No, you do not need to open a new account you can use the one you're on now, but have you registered with eBay's Managed Payments?
You may be prevented from listing an item, because you have not fully or correctly registered with eBay's Managed Payments.
You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified. The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive, and confirm to eBay.
Once this is completed, you will be able to list items for sale, and receive payouts from those sales.
This will show you how to register for eBay's Managed Payments.

If there is an issue with the registration contact eBay Customer Services, who have full access to your account, and can see where the issue lies and explain the steps you now need to take.
Contact them this way.

It looks like you have registered the account in the UK have you set the language to translate to Polish?
You need to register with Managed Payments , read my instructions above, this is what is stopping you from listing items for sale.

I read it and to me it looks like I need to list an item to register, I've got bank card plugee to this account. I have no clue what to do really, I've been with customer service on phone few weeks before, he said to me it's goes to IT because it looks my account is all good and I still receive error when I'm listing.

Have you read my instructions above, how to register for Managed Payments.
2 micro deposits need to be sent to your registered bank account for you to confirm back to eBay, has this been done ?
25-10-2025 8:10 PM
I did but how to do it, I mean do I need to do it manually somehow? When I click to proceed with sellers account change I receive error again.
25-10-2025 8:14 PM
Right so I need to contact customer service and tell them to do micro transactions into my account? It's weird cos I'm able to buy and pay with same account and yo receive returns when I cancel item. Technically speaking ebay is setting me money back when I cancel order.

I delete old bank card then I added same as new, it went through my bank to confirm transactions and set it up after. I tried to list and item and I got same error which tells me I need seller's account to list an item. To make sellers account I need to list an item and I can't do it 🤣

If the situation hasn't changed in 48 hours, contact CS again, but only at 8 a.m. on a weekday, as there's more chance of Dublin answering you, only speak to them. Being a Call Back option you'll hear the Irish lilt ! 🤗
Good luck, so frustrating when you hit such a stumbling block!
Keep us posted as to how you get on !
