Boiling tap blew up within 10 wks

Boiling tap blew up literally smoke billowing out of it thankfuly someone was in the house within  10wks ....have contacted seller they are ignoring me after spending 200 quid id expect it to last considerable longer  ...do I have any come back pd by PayPal...

It's too late for ebay but you have 180 days to open a case direct with Paypal from your Paypal account.

eBay and PayPal both offer 30 days buyer protection, so you're outside that timeframe, but if you paid with a debit or credit card you're still in time (120 days) to issue a not as described chargeback via your card provider.

Paypal does say 30 days.

 

  • Significantly Not as Described: Dispute must be opened within 30 days of the date of delivery or fulfilment (as applicable) of an order or within 180 days of the date you sent the payment to the seller, whichever is sooner.

No, it's correct  - item not as described is 30 days, same as eBay, but item not received is 180 days:
