i bought a iPhone 8 (on Black Friday)  that guaranteed battery life of 95% +.  I bought one for my son and one for me - his is ideal with 100% battery - mine was 87% - okay not much but NOT what they guaranteed.  They offered me £20 to get a replacement battery put in and I said no due to the fact that they sold an item that was not as they stated.  I complained to eBay and they told me to return it for a replacement, I did this and included a letter stating a REPLACEMENT was wanted.   Today  they refunded me my money. If I want to buy another it will cost me more, which I don’t feel that it is fair to ask me to do so as they sold the iPhone to me under a false promise.    I tried to contact eBay but due to refund given I cannot do..   Please anyone give me help. ... Hi all,   I hope someone can shed some light on this.   For the first time since being an eBay member, I have purchased two items that eBay have since marked with the below:   "We removed this listing from the site. For more information and next steps go to Messages. For information about delivery, view your order details."   Even though they have been marked like this, I have received the items.   What I am trying to do is hide the orders from view. I normally do this for all purchases where I have provided feedback etc. to keep track of my orders. However I cannot seem to do this for these two items. A few weeks ago I paid £178 for two Samsund phones (buy it now price). Within minutes of my Paypal transaction I was advised by the seller that the items were no longer available and that a refund would be made. A week or so later I received an email from Paypal saying they were having trouble obtaining the refund. Heard nothing since and there is no sign of the transaction in my Paypal account. Potential buyer is member since 2006, 1 feedback rating as a buyer from a well known company seller (item no longer logged). Keeps trying to press me for 'a price to sell' and can collect in '24 hours' despite first trying to get me to ship although I first listed as collect only (bike).
