The follwoing issue proves to me that there's something wrong with how eBay CS handles selle/ buyer issues I sold a rare pair of trainers a few weeks ago which was dispatched via eBay global shipping. The delivery has been confirmed. Yet, a few days later without any prior communication (not even a case /claim opened) , the buyer based in Japan leaves feedback stating - 'I bought cheap shoes very expensive. The seller is a malicious person.' The shoes, were still brand new , very desireable, long out of print and very rare. Which will obviously command a preinum price. I use eBay's Global Shipping for international buyers/ transactions, which probably indicates that the buyer paid international shipping costs and taxes on top of the price paid to me. I must also clarify and confirm I have never had any communication with the buyer prior to leaving feedback. So in repsonse, I call eBay and they state there's nothing i can do about, except to complete the defamation process which removes the comment yet still leaves the negative defect on my feedback page. I find this outrageous that a buyer decides of their OWN free will to purchase a BIN item. Then comments they are unhappy about the price paid. I REPEAT THERE WAS NO COMUNICATION WITH BUYER PRIOR TO PURCHASE. So, Yesterday I made numerous calls and spoke to 5 agents (2 of whom cut me off) and latterly 2 supervisers. But I've have hit a brick wall over CS agreeing to remove this feedback /defect. They suggest I talk to the buyer directly to address the issue. During which the buyer clarified that he ojected to the item being 4 times the original list price, even after I advised as stated in the lsiting ' the item is out of print and very rare'. In itself communicating with the buyer was a painful experince, with mainly one line responsses, the result of which which the buyer advised not interested in discussing further. So today , I've just called them again only for the CS rep who of course cannot make any rational decsion because they have literally been shackled to the seller/buyer guidelines verbatim. So of course I ask for a supervisor for which I'm told the wait is up to 24 hours Is there anything else I can do to get this resolved to my satisfaction?
