I sold a pair of Barbour Wellies photos included. I received a refund request from buyer saying the left Wellie is cracked down the front for about 10 inches. I have inspected my pics and do not believe it is my boot his photo is of. He has admitted he did have another pair of Barbour wellies that were perished and I feel he is trying to get my boots for free.

It sounds like you are going to get an old pair returned while the buyer keeps the new ones.

Has he opened a case? If so, deal with it and send a prepaid label for return.

When you get them back, if you find they are a different pair you can report them to ebay, but you will still have to refund.

You can appeal the refund but it is doubtful you would win, at most you might get your P&P back.
