I have recently (03/05/21) purchased a Tomtom navigation system from dejavu.global. after 1st use the unit advised I needed to update the maps. Downloaded the software, but maps would not update. Looked on the forums, & found a post stating that these systems were end of life & no longer supported by Tomtom. Contacted dejavu requesting a return (28/06/21), they responded stating this was not true & gave a phone number to discuss with Tomtom. They then declined & closed the return request (29/06/21). Tried the number, got a message stating Tomtom did not offer phone support, & to try support through their app. Did so, & found the reason that maps would not update was due to the unit having intermittent connection with the PC. On further investigation the cause was traced to the connection within the unit that does not grip the cable tightly enough. Cannot continue the conversation with dejavu through the return request as they have closed it. Cannot seem to enlist ebay help as the return request is closed. Hace contacted dejavu.global through ebay twice since then (30/06/21 & 05/07/21) explaining the situation, stating that I didn't necessarily want a refund, just a functional satnav, but no answer. How do I re-enlist ebay to help me with this?
