Sell only account ?

Hi , is it possible to limit an Ebay account to sell only . A friend has run up debt buying things but wants to be able to sell to get back some of the money . I think that still being able to buy stuff might be too big a temptation and wonder if it is possible to have an account that allows selling only ?

EBay can place limits on the number and value of items that a user can buy or sell.

Your friend could contact customer support, and ask if they would limit the value of items they can buy to a very low level.

I don't know whether they would do this, but it's the only way I can see of achieving this.
