Hi I sent a pair of shoes in excellent condition , photos to prove this. Buyer sent photos claiming the shoes were damaged?. I showed her and ebay the photos that prove they were not my shoes. She first offed half of what she paid as she like the shoes, then a full refund. Dispite the evidence the photos and emails from her and the fact I had paid more thanshe paid in postage for next day at no extra charge. Ebay decided in her favour. Why have Ebay turned off the UK advanced search filter function? All the boxes are dark highlighted now and search for anything except full catagories - is this what they call improving the system???? Even some of the search filters in normal mode have gone. Pointless and useless system now if we cannot seach by price/location and rule our business sellers. 22 years and they still cant get this cash-cow working for us ... View more

I have a buyer? Asked for my best price then without making an offer gave his PayPal email and asked for mine so he could "conclude the payment ASAP". Explaining I Take payment through ebay I will be overcharged with extra fees for selling with PayPal through ebay. I responded this is a cash on collection deal. Reply can't collect in person sending a courier. So I pointed out my obligation to ebay and gave two options for him to buy. Have courier pay with your cash or buy in conventional way through ebay. I sent goods via UPS with there insurance and the buyer received them a day later They now claim the goods were severly damaged upon opening but did not photograph this damage as the parcel was opened nor did they contact me immediately, it toook me contacting them a day later to be aware of any damage, indeed the photo's he provided show the packaging in the same undamged condition as i sent it They proceeded to take the item apart and strip it down to apparently see the extent of the damage, they now want me to fund repairs or the purchase price in full UPS offer to collect and inspect the item with view to a resolution but the buyer is refusing to release it without a full refund first Surely this cannot be correct and he has surely caused damage to an otherwise good item and now expects a refund leaving me with a useles item Surely he cannot be entitled to a refund when he has admitted taking the item apart and stripping it?  ... If the eBay site in my country is not in English, should I use English or the same language as the site when editing products? My main customers are in the UK and Europe.If I edit the product in the local language, will it be automatically translated into English for customers in the UK? ... View more
