I bought what I thought was a genuine antivirus product. Download the software, and product key supplied. I went to the link provided, entered the key, and got a message saying fault bla bla bla, ring a freephone number, which I did. The person the other end seemed most genuine, asking for the error number, then saying "oh you have a problem on your system, you will need an engineer to help you, I will arrange a call back to withinn 15 to 20 minutes.  The "enginee" did phone back telling me all the things wrong with my computer, also asked to link to my machine which I allowed, silly me, but I broke the link straight away when he asked me for 149.99 to fix the problem, and when he became aware I was going dropped to 99.99. Complained to ebay, got a refund, but that ad is still current, others are still buying from that ad, I can not for the life of me see why ebay should allow this.
