Bought an iPhone 8 back in November 2020  which was described as being in 'pristine condition'. No problems at first, but after just about 8 months it packed up and wouldn't charge - then it did charge and worked for about a minute before packing up again. Took it to a repair shop, who opened it and said the motherboard was faulty and that it was apparent that the phone had been worked on before. The shop refused to work on it because of the previous repair.   When asking the seller what warranty came with their phones, they said 12 months 'for any technical issue' . When I later stated why I had asked about the warranty, the seller said that the shop had damaged the motherboard and that items like this were not covered by the warranty.   As you can imagine, I'm pretty fed up over this: is the seller right? Is it reasonable to think a hone graded 'excellent' should only last for 8 months? I can't find any way for eBay to assist on the site. I've bought an item on eBay and followed the link to pay for it by PayPal. Neither eBay nor PayPal show what email address the payment went to. The seller hasn't received the payment into their PayPal account. Can anyone help me track down the money? Thanks ... View more

When looking at items on ebay they were always in AUD dollars, for some reason they are listed in pounds now, how do I change it back to AUD ... View more

I purchased a new with tags dress  size 22 for my Son's wedding from Ebay on 17th January 2021, then on 15th March 2021 from the same seller i bought the matching jacket again new with tags.  My son's wedding date changed so i decided to sell the two items together on Ebay, the outfit sold on 06.07.2021. the buyer left positive feedback + sent me a message to say how happy she was. Fast forward to yesterday 16th july 2021 the buyer is now saying the dress was a size 18 and not size 22 .  Ebay can see what i bought and that both items are a size 22, I don't have the dress in a size 18 nor did i sell the buyer a jacket size 22 and the matching dress sized 18.  The buyer is now requesting a return and refund. Ebay have approved the buyer can return the outfit, my questions are : where do i stand, it is my belief the buyer is returning a dress in a different size to the one i sold her.  why did the buyer wait until now to request a return especially after putting positive feedback and sending me messages telling me how happy she was.  I feel i am being swindled. and i don't know what i am able to do as a seller. I sold a item on eBay, however the buyer did not like it so he put in a request to return. He shipped the item and added the tracking number however due to address query (not sure what address the buyer put) it was sent back to him. He has now won the case with eBay saying he sent the item back and the tracking shows it was delivered. However tracking does not show that, instead shows sent back to buyer and I am now out £180. Hello dear I sold an item in ebay which was guaranteed authentic with blue tik.  But now I see that writing there inspection failed. Also the buyer send me massage and said he got an email from Amanda from ebay  authenicty problems. He said that email said the item wasn't original and he said I didn't get  the item too.  but I checked the tracking numbers in Royal Mail and it was delivered and he signed.  I didn't get anything from eBay to said the item is not authentic. Also had verified by ebay  authenticator.  so now would like to open a case  as mansion I have tracking number and I insurance the item.
