Dear community,   I recently ordered a bulk bag (800kg) of a gravel where the seller sent the incorrect size. I refused the bag and it was sent back. I filed a return but they won't refund me as they are saying I still need to send it back even though it's been sent back and this would not be possible with the 4kg maximum postage weight this pays for. I have proof that the bag was returned and called/emailed the sellers but they have not refunded me. I have opened a case but it was closed by the resolution center saying I haven't sent it back as I don't have a tracking number. It is also not letting me appeal this. Hi there,   I recently bought an item on ebay and I then checked the seller I had bought it from (which I probably should have done before). Anyway they had only had their account for a few months and only had 5 stars but they had 100% positive feedback so I was confident. I then checked the Tracking number, it was a royal mail one, but it wasn't working. So I contacted the seller and said tracking number isn't working have you sent item but I didn't get a reply so I kind of accepted the fact I had been scammed and was going to report item not received but the tracking had changed to in transit so i thought I'll wait a couple days and if it hasn't come report it. And when I got home today the item was there thank goodness and I went to leave positive feedback but it wouldn't let me stating "this user is no longer eligible for feedback, try leaving feedback for other users". Which I found bizarre. I have a few questions.  A)how come the tracking number wasn't working for me if it changed to 'in transit'?  B) if they were scammers why did they send item.  C) I know ebay doesn't release your money until  you've received feedback so how can they now that I was unable to leave it? D) why was I unable to leave feedback? Hi  i understand that if you have 'not sold for a while' (ebays actual wording) your payments are put on hold for longer than the normal mis-managed payments wait  Does anyone have any idea how long this period, of not selling for, is?!! and is it irrespective of previous selling performance, amount, etc.  I have tried to find an answer but ebay help pages are pretty useless on this one and i read that someone had not sold for a few months and was on payment hold because of it  regards Pete ... Hey guys,   I have an order with a rather troublesome seller, took ages to respond to any communications, was over a week late in dispatching my items, for which I filed a PayPal claim for as I believed that I wasn't going to receive anything and the seller had all but vanished, all current auctions stopped and they didn't respond. When they did send the items out, 1 was missing, but because they were able to provide tracking to PayPal, they wont look at the case again. The seller stated they would refund me, but claim eBay won't let them and now have gone dark again. What is my next course of action as ebay won't do anything, PayPal won't do anything and my bank is useless at getting charges reversed. ... View more
