sew creative ? isnt that where the grids (patchwork) were from?  i think he would prefer to post them, unless he wants to meet you for a coffee 😉 that is a good warranty, in town here they only offer a 3 month on reconditioned.

You are thinking of Creative Grids for the rulers Gems. Sew Creative are in Norfolk I think but they have had a stand at the Exeter Quilt show for many years now. Mike seems very nice so hopefully he will replace the missing feet.:-)

ah yes creative grids, I got the creative bit right 😉

Have your feet calmed down now, all that walking, you dont notice so much at the time do you, its usually when you sit down you realise the achey pain.

oh yes!!!!! they used to say coffee but it never was, I never went back anywhere for coffee :^O

I like a strong milky coffee, but the wind it creates!!! shocking :^O

I am with CK on the coffee. Hate it made with milk.

I am still feeling tired (why am I still up?) but it was a good weekend. In the first two days we signed up at least 35 new members for SWQ. I got details of a lady that make lovely antique looking books from fabrics & old lace so might book her to do a workshop next year.:-)

Sounds like you were quite busy then Maggie. Antique books from fabric & lace sounds interesting, i bet they can look great in the right surroundings.

new machine, how nice!:-) when you said you were reading a manual, i just thought you were uber clever:-D, my gran used to read dictionaries & theasurus for pleasure

i dont know who the soap guy is, but he sure looks like he made MIL happy, what a nice photo to have CK

coffee should be black, as it comes, add anything to it, its no longer coffee, its a coffee "cocktail:^O

Had a  lovely weekend away with MrH - walked miles around Cambridge - did shopping, people watching, eating and more walking.

Found a lovely little habbie shop - all pretty & different to what I'd seen before. Might have bought some gorgeous little embroidery scissors and some russian doll fabric 😉

Maggie - sounds like you had a good weekend. Hope you and your new machine have many happy sewing hours together.

CK - no idea who he is but he looks like a nice chap and I bet the residents were happy to see him 🙂

I like my proper coffee black (ie filter/cafaterie) but if someone only has instant coffee then I have milk in it - no idea why though.
