Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

Sounds very fair 🙂 I will go along with whatever is decided.

Just wish ebay would get stuff sorted- they are losing lots of good will with all the messing around with boards/groups. It makes me spend less time on here so I don't browse for bargains.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

It's for a little girl but I have no pink left. I hope she likes it. The print is of farm animals.:-)

Just had this made for my daughter. Pic doesn't do it justice. It's so light and soft - really beautiful :-x

Wow - that is brilliant - something to really treasure.

I've got a gorgeous shawl somewhere MIL made for No1 son - saving it for my grandkids 😉

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

Lovely quilt as usual maggie, I'm afraid I haven't got any suitable fabric left now.  Have you thought about looking for some nursery curtains or duvet covers from a boot sale or charity shop.  You'd get a fair bit of fabric for perhaps not much money?

That shawl is beautiful mags, even if I had the knowledge, I wouldn't have the patience to make anything so fine.:O

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

I do look for duvet covers but the designs are usually too big. The wiggly bags are only about 6/9 inches big. Curtain fabric is too heavy for the children. I did use a duvet cover for the Thomas quilts as the reverse of the quilt was smaller engines.:-)

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

I wonder if they still make that ginger coloured felt, because I bought some felt recently, a pack with 72 different colours in, but there wasn't any ginger.  That's why my gingerbread person looked more like a gollydoll!

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

Another lovely quilt there Maggie 🙂
I won't vote in your poll, its not really up to me what you decide, seeing as I only joined last night :^O

Learning that shawl is beautiful, I wouldn't even attempt making  anything like that 😄

Will keep an eye open for GB felt next time i'm out.

My daughter said they had felt in the £ shop in Yeovil. I am going in on Thursday so will have a look.
