Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Our local hosy is just around the corner from where my parents live so I always park there and walk, it is a lovely walk and as I go for physio every now and then the walk helps me to loosen up before the guys get at me.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Just photographed our new garage but it's coming up that the piccies are too large.  I've never had this problem but I'll see what I can do.

I think CB had that trouble Books, and Stroppy talked her through how to change it.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I have to reduce every photo I take if I want to put it on here.  It's to do with your camera.

I have a programme that resizes and crops and cures 'red eye' and things like that but I don't know what it is or what it's called.  It's just there when I download my pictures.   It's all magic to me!  Woman Embarassed

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Thanks for the replies.  I think that I have managed it so I will try again which I have and it still won't work so back to the drawing board.  Never mind though.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Right, I'll try again and see if it works this time.

I managed it at last.  I altered the settings on my camera and it was still too big so I reduced the size somehow and it's done.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

That looks a good sturdy garage.  Is that your house on there?  I thought you lived in a bungalow.  If that's not your house, you've built your garage in their garden!!!  Woman LOL

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

No CG, that's not our house.  You're right, I do live in a bungalow which was behind me when I took the photo.  The garage is very sturdy and it's also a lot bigger than the last garage.  The man who we bought the bungalow from chopped about three feet or so off the old garage so that he could get his caravan down the drive.  There's no way we could have fit a car in the old garage but now we can.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning all  , theres a bit of sewing going on here at last pics later ..maybe 🙂

Yesterdays plans changed when i had to see the Dr (off the troublesome new pills now yay)  then silly cat scratched his eye on something so needed to see the vet.  examination , cream , , jabs , etc came to £85 😮

Son was here in the afternoon fixing his car door as he lives on a busy road so its safer to work on it here .   BUT his partner & little Alfie came with him so i had  little 3weeks old Alfie here for 6 hrs ...oh bliss im one very happy Mammar heart

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

That's lovely Von.  I can't believe that Alfie is three weeks old now.  It's flown by.

We've had Grace and her mum for three hours today.  Grace is three now and motorised.  The only time she was when the hairdresser was here.  We'll be seeing them again on Satuday as Steph's mum has invited us for our tea and Grace will be there with her mum and dad.  If Steph has a boy, Grace says that it will just be called boy.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

The choices of names for a girl are Ella or Darcey.  Grace says Darcey.  We are still recovering from this afternoon.  I wonder why.

Must look for a website for reducing photos.

Hmmmmm wish I had a man who tidied up , Mr S's idea of clearing is just to move all his carp to a different place than where it started

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I will admit to a very untidy Yankee storage box .................... well I call it a box but it's sort of a whole drawer now as I have a compulsion to buy tarts whenever they are on offer or a new fragrance comes out, even if I hate the fragrance ........................... well you can always give them away cant you
