Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Over here twishy, behind you, yes here I am.

I can sympathise with you, without my glasses I am fine for distance but anything closer than an arms length and I can't see it, reading pah no way.

Don't leave it too long and hurt your eyes.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Too right Capt...smilie thud.gif

But I've got two pairs, one for distance (blind as a batness) and a pair for reading, sewing, lappying and other close up and personal stuff....

AND...

They are a dark red wine/purple colour......ooooooh get me ...smilie cleaning glasses.gif

Pick them up on Saturday so I'm still stuck together for now and won't be going out until I go for me specs...it causes too much hilarity for other people...too much for my liking...

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Exciting time PCC

Hope you get sorted Twishy. I pick up new glasses (for emergency use only as I have contacts) next Tuesday.

How is the hoof CB?

We have been to visit my sister in Seahouses today. Had lunch in Bamburgh then walked along the beach in the shadow of the castle.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Cute crafts cookie!

Hope you're all fine. I don't know where the days are going - the weeks seem to be flying past so fast at the moment!

I'm tired, I still have not found any energy and I still struggle to get my house clean and tidy. And I don't really work, so I have the time.

The pets I am looking after are just extra work too...

It's just rubbish feeling lethargic all the time. Which is why I sit at my desk so much.... faffing about. I have no real motivation. I need to get busy and I need to be more active and lose some weight. I want to feel more confident & maybe find some motivation.

Anyway, I have done a silly thing. As I said up there, I don't really work - I do help my OH with stuff (some ordering/paperwork type stuff, from home) and I sell stuff on ebay & local FB sites. But I have somehow roped myself into a new business on the side, which seemed like a good idea at the time, but as I have so few friends or even acquaintances, it is a bit crazy to do.

But, I can do what I want, no real targets, a few rules to stick to. It's a product that will pretty much sell itself, and I will just have to become a network marketing guru. Lol. If I can be bothered. Wish me luck.

Wonder how long this will last? x

Take care everyone xxx

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

well good luck with it Pix, you can at least give it a go can't you?

thanks for asking Learning, I'm actually walking in the house without the crutches but I need to use them when I go out.

I will be back in work in a fortnight, so I need to get some practice in.

I don't have much pain though which is good.
