Cold, cold, cold.  I broke my rule and put the radiators on early.  Even in 3 fleeces I've got goosebumps on my back

I hope that it will warm up sooner rather than later.  It's not so jolly warm here at the moment and it's still a bit breezy but not as bad as it was on Wednesday.

Afternoon all.  Even though we've bright sunshine here, it's bitterly cold due to the wind.

Managed to go for a swim this morning which I felt better for.  I then went into town on my way home.  I've not done much more today.  Terrible isn't it?  I've got some wool though to do cardigans for the girls.  They're only for Easter so it gives me plenty of time.

Good evening everyone.  Off down the Club now - meat raffle on a Saturday.  I spend £3 on 3 cokes and £2 on raffle tickets.  Mahoosive chunks of meat usually; I hope Lady Luck smiles on me tonight.

Thanks Stan xxx.  Sadly Lady Luck just shook her skirts at me and ran away, laughing.  Never mind; 4 vodkas helped ease the pain.  I hadn't had more than 1 all month so felt I was a bit entitled.  I bought 2 and 2 were gifts, so still only spent £6

Im stuck indoors waiting for a parcel to arrive that was supposedly tried to be delivered on Sunday oh yeh well we have CCTV & were in all day so i don't think so Mr van driver

Afternoon all.  We've had a busy day.  I had to take my mum for a blood test at 11.15 and then we went into town for our lunch.  We then bought two knitting patterns for baby cardigans after which, we did a big food shop.  It's been very cold here today.  When I was going for my swim this morning, the car was telling me that it was minus 2.  When I arrived home a couple of hours later, it had warmed up a bit - it was plus 3.

Got home today after an overnight flight - what a shock, fffffffffreezing with what my Mum used to call a lazy wind, too lazy to go round you so goes straight through you! No snow or ice here, but so cold.

Tucked up in bed with my hottie and my electric heat pad, trying to thaw out.

Work tomorrow - not looking forward to it, but the team are going to the pub for lunch.
